Q Artistry is a non-profit collection of artists dedicated to enlightening, educating and entertaining through original and reimagined productions, presentations and events. With a special interest in nurturing and inspiring all art forms, Q artistry strives to bring forth new endeavors while fully appreciating the talent and creative minds in front of and behind the curtain.

The Origins of Q

Q Artistry got it's start in 2007 when Ben Asaykwee, Renae Stone, Priscilla Parchia, and Will McCarty came together for the sole purpose of presenting original material that they would produce and/or appear in themselves. Their first venture was a series of cabarets in the Chicago and Indianapolis areas that were not only lucrative, but critically acclaimed. They were asked to present at the international arts festival "Looptopia" in 2008, and had a show moved from it's original location to a much larger space at the Theatre Building Chicago.

In 2009, they took a wild leap forward and mounted their first full scale musical "Cabaret Poe" in Irvington. Its success has prompted the group to think on a larger scale and create even more opportunities for artists and audiences by producing a full year of presentations. The upcoming 2010 season includes puppetry, cabarets, art shows, benefits, full scale musicals, and musical revues.
